This notice describes the current Lines & Matter website and digital field guide.

Browsing this website

The website code does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, newsletter signups, server-submitted contact forms, or its own customer accounts. It does not set its own cookies or store your coloring activity.

Hosting and technical information

The public website is hosted by Netlify. Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, and browser information to deliver and protect the service.

Read Netlify’s Privacy Statement for its information practices. Separate development previews may be hosted through OpenAI Sites and require a provider sign-in; see OpenAI’s Privacy Policy. We do not set these providers’ retention periods or cookie behavior.

Species photographs

Reference photographs load from Wikimedia image servers. Your browser contacts those servers to display the photos, which may expose technical request information to Wikimedia. Each photo has a source and license link.

Etsy and other links

Purchases and shop messages take place on Etsy, not on this website. Etsy handles checkout and payment information under its own policies. If you message our shop, we receive the information you choose to send through Etsy so we can respond. Reference links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices.

Feedback by email

The feedback form prepares a draft in your email app. It does not transmit or save the entered text on this website. If you send the draft, we receive your email address and the contents through Gmail and use them to respond to your request or consider a correction. Do not include sensitive information. Contact will.mchargue@gmail.com about feedback or deletion requests.

Questions and requests

Contact Lines & Matter through our Etsy shop with privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent us. Please do not send sensitive personal information or payment details in a message.
